About Our Speaker

Kay Valentine

Kay Valentine is a Regional Director with Vanguard Retirement Access®. With over 16 years of retirement plan and investment experience, Kay partners with Advisors and TPAs in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Kay’s career in financial services began at Vanguard in the Vanguard Leadership Development program. Early in her career, Kay supported the Vanguard Target Retirement Fund launch. Kay spent 12+ years supporting Vanguard’s proprietary recordkeeping solution, where she managed a handful of $1B+ relationships for some of the most prestigious companies in the world. Most recently, she worked for a CEFEX® certified RIA with $11B AUA in retirement plans where she managed RFI, RFP, and existing client relationships.

Kay is married with two kids (three, counting her fur baby). Kay is passionate about supporting diversity initiatives in the financial services industry and is an active member of WiPN and Diversity Leadership Alliance.
