Our guest speaker will be Anne Ackerley, head of BlackRock’s US & Canada Defined Contribution (USDC) Group, who will share her perspectives on the marketplace as well as best practices as a leader in our industry.
Anne F. Ackerley, Managing Director, is responsible for the development and distribution of Defined Contribution strategies and services to both institutional and retail clients and consultants. Ms. Ackerley is a member of BlackRock’s Global Operating Committee and the Human Capital Committee.

Ms. Ackerley served on the board of Governors of the Investment Company Institute from 2002 to 2005 as well as on the board of the Ethical Culture Fieldston School from 2011 to 2013. She serves on the Harvard-Radcliffe Alumni Schools Committee and is a trustee of the Riverdale Mental Health Association. Ms. Ackerley was honored by the YWCA Academy of Women Leaders in 2013 and was named a 2013 trailblazer by the National Council for Research on Women (NCRW) for her work in advancing gender equity.
Ms. Ackerley earned a BA, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in economics from Harvard College in 1984 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1988.
